TWG Tea Salon @ Gurney Paragon; Luxurious Tea Time!

I am missing in action (blog & Dayre) these few days cause I think everyone probably don't have time to read too. I am not going to blog about my CNY first, as I grow up I start finding that it's not that exciting anymore like I was when I was little. Other than having a break which can let us away from schools and works, I look forward to spend more time with my family, relatives and friends. Well, maybe I should continue this topic on my CNY blogpost perhaps? Lol...so back to main point.
On Cho Lok (Day 6 of CNY), Miichell and I decided to hang out together, as I am starting my intern on next week and she will start her school soon, we may not have much time to hang out like last time so here we go! I wanted to test all the High-Tea set in Penang I said, and here we came to TWG Tea Salon & Boutique, which is newly open in Gurney Paragon Penang.

TWG Tea Salon & Boutique offers Breakfast, All Day Dining, Desserts, and Tea Sets. As the seats is limited, there's always people lining up for it. People tend to sit more than an hour spending time in tea room, because of the premium price they paid, to enjoy the nice environment, services and the delicacies served. Servants are friendly but the service is slow. Maybe that's the pace of lifestyle of the riches? Just don't dine in when you're in a rush.

Moroccan Mint Tea (Highly Recommend)
Tea with a taste of Mint like the Mint Chewing Gums. Feeling fresh in mouth
after eating something sweets. Taste not bitter too, definitely my cup of tea!
TWG Tea prepare teas with the greatest of care. They use pure, filtered water to preserve their unique characteristics. The water temperature and the time of infusion vary according to the type of tea, and the leaves are removed before serving so the flavor and aroma of the tea remain consistent from the first cup to the last. Friendly reminder, teas are not refillable.

CHIC Tea Time Set (Highly Recommend)
TWG Tea from extensive tea list, A petite selection of 3 finger sandwiches from 3 sets (Vegeterian/Royal/Imperial), Choice of 2 freshly baked scones or muffin served with TWG Tea jelly and whipped cream or 1 patisserie from trolley. There's 3 tea time set (1837/CHIC/Fortune), would prefer Fortune set because it's more worth. The portion is for one person, but you can share it with your friends. Price is reasonable and affordable.

TWG Tea's renowned crispy almond biscuit with a soft centre.
Pink macaron - Grand Wedding Tea, Passion Fruit & Coconut (Recommend)
It taste very sweet for me, better pair up together with their signature teas.
Purple macaron - 1837 Black tea & Blackcurrant (Highly Recommend)
This taste not too sweet, and just nice for me. Kids will love it!
That pretty much sums up my afternoon with Miichell. Normally, you need an hour to high-tea, so it definitely takes more than an hour for a luxurious tea time lol. I will be back for their All Day Dining again! Or have you tried? Do let me know your's experience! Treat yourself a luxurious meal once in a while, reward yourself. If you don't love yourself, who will?! The next station, we headed to Chocolate Passion in Gurney Paragon, a paradise for chocolate lovers! Are you a chocolate person?! I AM!! :)
