Every month has a special day, and this time goes to all fathers in the world! HAPPY FATHER'S DAY, all papa! Last month, we brought our parent to Babylon Beach Blanket @ 32 Mansion , to celebrate Mother's Day and my mom's birthday. It was a fine dining restaurant serving Western mixed Asian food. This time around, we decided to bring them to experience a totally different cuisine which is more Asian and Oriental, and we came to Chin's Stylish Chinese Cuisine, Penang.
There's always a question people ask, "Where to have a fancy and classy dinner?" Well, there will be a endless list I can come up with. In such a small island, Penang have so much fine restaurants. It depends whether you have the time and money to explore all this haha! Narrow down the list by taking location into consideration, Chin's Stylish Chinese Cuisine remain the top of our list so this time we decided to give it a try. Why should location be considered?! My parent prefers to dine in a restaurant overlooks the sea. The entire restaurant is located right above the sea! So, wouldn't you love to pamper your loved ones with a seafront dining?!

Award winning Chin's are offically one if the finest restaurants in Asia. Chin's Stylish serve traditional Hunan and Sichuan recipes. The food served are both elegantly presented and tasty. The daring interior richly decorated with modern art plus unique fixtures will draw all your attention. What more, overlooking the pier, authenticity of the delicacies, great ambiance, making your dining experience a remarkable one! This restaurant is always fully booked, so make sure you place your reservations one week in advance to avoid being disappointed. :)

Upon setting foot into the restaurant, there's a guest waiting area with traditional Chinese furnitures of solid wood, and the artistic portrait of the figures place on the wall. A very unique corner!
A luxurious and charming fine dining!
I was fascinated with the plate in front of us. Each seat every table included this hand-painting ceramic plate too. I never seen something like these in Asian restaurant. Very unique aren't they?!
Chin's Stylish Chinese Cuisine served different Prefix Set Menu, range from RM68++ to RM 228++, given a minimum order for 4 pax each set. We ordered ten course prefix set for RM 88++ per person, for 5 pax.

Sesame seeds and shredded prawn meat made with crispy toast. Looks normal, but quite tasty!

Deep-fried to crispy goodness, it is one of my favorites among all appetizers.
Chin's Specialty - Chin's Aromatic Crispy Duck
This is their house specialty! I could smell its aroma from far!
The whole duck leg was shredded in front of you. This is how you eat: Place a slice of thin crepes on your plate, put the sauces, cucumber slices, spring onion slices, a few chopped chillies, and lastly place the shredded duck on top of everything. Fold the crepe and wrap the ingredients inside and eat!
They taste so good together!

It comes in two contrasting parts of flavors. This juicy and spicy fish is usually best eaten along with the fragrant steamed rice (one of the course)!

Dessert - Jasmine Jelly, Sea Coconut, White Fungus
A luxurious yet charming fine dining experience. We had a more-than-satisfying dinner. That marks the end of Father's Day! Once again Happy Father's Day to all papa / superdad / heros! Have a great weekend with your beloved parent everyone! :)
