The Ship: Christmas Celebration Dinner with #tekungang!
5:08 PM
Hohoho! Christmas is just around the corner! What you think about?! Santa Clause?! Present?! Turkey?! Same with me *high five* I plan to eat Turkey dinner too! I remembered last time I enjoy Christmas Turkey Dinner was when I was only 12! I still remembered how juicy was the roasted turkey *om nom nom* but in Penang, there's only few choice of turkey meal to choose and some of them need to order, take-away only, and only served on Christmas eve and day. My plan with my #tekungang to eat turkey failed! Cause we plan to eat before christmas, christmas day is our study week! *tears*
But nevermind, we still have BCDEF-Z plans to go! Hehe! We bought same dress from HnM with *discounted price* oh yeah! And we got some photoshooting session in school! Will blog and post some photo of it soon so *stay tuned* We got a hard time to choose where to eat after photoshoot! (Here I would like to thanks our photographer helping us to take photos! Hehe) And we follow the driver *theng theng princess* and here we come to The Ship, Batu Ferringhi Penang!
"The Ship, with the reputation of serving The Best Steak In Town, was well served under a unique decorative setting and on top of that all prices are value for money. The unique exterior of restaurants resemble an almost life-size hull of a ship, and on stepping inside one will be impressed with the timely recreated likeness of a sea-going vessel.Complementing the theme is service provided by captains and crews in maritime uniform. Such is the attraction of The Ship that it is common for foreign visitors of the country to seek its whereabouts. The Ship has, by word of mouth, contributed in making Malaysia a popular tourist destination."
I have dinner in The Ship before that, quite a number of time. But Christmas set dinner, I never try before. I would say it is a super value Christmas set dinner! If you plan to have Christmas dinner with your girlfie or family, The Ship is certainly one of the best choice!
People mountain people sea.
On the eve of festive days or special occasions, they do not take reservations.
So if you would like to dine in, do come early so you don't wait in queue starving!

Appetizer - Escargot Bourguinonne, Half Dozen (Highly Recommend)
This is definitely my favourite and their best appetizer!
Soup - Italian Minestrone (Average)
The soup was only average to me. Soup served hot is a plus point.
Main Course - Roasted Lamb Shank topped with Kebab Sauce (Highly Recommend)
Served with broccoli, corn on cob and potato wedges.
The portion is so HUGE! And 4 of us were so full after finish it! *satisfied faces*
The lamb was nicely roasted and the sauce is a good match! *thumbs up* for this!
Definitely worth every penny you paid for it!
Chicken Au Chambertin (Highly Recommend)
Grilled chicken fillet garnished with mushroom and red wine sauce,
served with french fries and vegetables.
Seafood Platter (Average)
Combination of grilled king prawns, fish fillet, grilled squid, fried soft crab
and fried scallop served with french fries and mini salad.
The photo taken by me. SheauJeng and Jocelyn.
Where's mine and thengtheng?! Too blur so I skipped. Taken by sheaujeng lol. Haha!
The exterior view of The Ship!
We have a pleasant and satisfied dinner! Although its not Turkey, but nevermind we had Lamb Shank! You will surely regret if you didn't try their christmas set dinner, because the Lamb Shank is not the permanent food served in their menu! Its seasonal! Heard their beef (as one of the main course choice) also very nice!
